Warum „Azure Site Recovery“ (ASR) eine gute Alternative zu „Azure Migrate“ist. Er wird dazu „die theoretischen Grundlagen für die Verwendung von ASR erörtern und diskutieren“ sowie demonstrieren, wie ASR für eine Migration eingesetzt werden kann. Gleich mit einer praktischen Übung, bei der „eine onprem VMware VM nach Azure mittels ASR migriert wird.“
Am Ende der Session, so meint Thomas, „solltet Ihr daher gut gerüstet sein um selbst eine solche Migration durchzuführen“.
